Green Building Education Services (GBES) was founded in 2007 (back then we were www.greenexamprep.com) and created the original LEED practice tests as the LEED movement was growing. Our co-founders brought together real estate/construction/green building experience as well as professional credentialing and exam prep systems. The perfect match. Today, GBES is recognized as a global green building movement leader.
Our Vision is to be the global leader of green building education and training.
Our Mission is to advance the green building movement through best-in-class education and encouragement.
- Quality of Life – Proactively create a healthy work-life balance and consistent enjoyment in day-to-day life for our family (team) and our community.
- Best-in-Class – Global notoriety as a trendsetter and influencer in all that we do: education, relationships, and customer service.
- Positivity – Passionate practice of optimism and environmental stewardship in the present about the future.
- Trust – Faith in each other, goodwill towards our customers & clients, and consistent integrity have yielded longevity in business (over 11+ years).
After our LEED practice tests, we added courses and additional study tools. LEED went through major changes in 2009 (to v3) and multiple new LEED credentials were available (that was a busy year for us to make practice tests and courses for each LEED credential). Then, we built out a 100+ continuing education (LEED CMP) library that also doubles for AIA hours. Now, we’re all-in on WELL, a program we really enjoy.
