Once you have passed the LEED Green Associate exam (congratulations!), you will need to prepare to maintain it every two years so you don’t have to retake the exam. The USGBC requires ongoing continuing education for each LEED professional. This document outlines the requirements for both LEED Green Associates and LEED AP professionals.
Each LEED Green Associate will need to earn 15 hours of continuing education during each 2-year cycle. Of the 15 total hours, 3 must be LEED-Specific.
